New York, NY (September 24, 2012) --- On Thursday, September 27th, Peter Mars will launch his new show celebrating Girl Power at POP International Galleries. The show will feature exciting new works of art as well as his iconic images that continuously delight the senses. Peter Mars never ceases to amaze with his colorful, quirky and unpredictable pieces that bring out the child in all of us.
The show will exclusively feature pieces centered on iconic female characters from all different areas of pop culture such as Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana, Wonder Woman, and Alice in Wonderland. The evening will also include a first look at new pieces done in Mars’s signature silkscreen style with subjects like Liz Taylor. These works of art are a testament to the subjects featured in them as their strength; forward thinking and stunning femme image come to life from the canvas. The message is clear, woman are a powerful force and deserve to be the center of attention, just like the works Mars has created.
This will be Peter Mars’s fourth show at POP International Galleries. Viewers will be sure to feel the message radiating from this show.
